Events & Festivals
Festivals and events are an exciting part of life in North Cyprus, including music, dancing and foods. These colourful events and festivals have brought tourists and visitor from all over. Classical musicians from around the world gather in Kyrenia between May/June every year for the Bellapais Music Festival.
Other festivals such as the Peace and Freedom festival in July or the orange, grape and olive harvest celebrations, have become a big part of the Turkish Cypriot cultural life. These events and festivals are an avenue through which the locals of Northern Cyprus use to enjoy themselves, friends and families, as well as visitors to the island.
